Meet your provider:

Dr. Shoaff completed her PsyD in clinical psychology at Nova Southeastern University. She went on to complete her internship training at an APA-accredited site, The University of Tennessee Student Counseling Center. In addition to her extensive schooling, she completed her post-doctoral work at a private practice in Knoxville, TN working with a wide array of clients and presenting problems. She is currently licensed in TN and IL however, she is PsyPact registered which means she can provide services in 42 states via telehealth. Dr. Shoaff is trained as a generalist however, she primarily focuses on trauma, OCD, anxiety related disorders, depression, women’s issues, borderline personality, and subclinical or in remission eating disorders. 

Fun Fact: Dr. Shoaff named her practice The Landing because her grandma’s favorite bird was the hummingbird. She would watch them “land” on the bird feeder throughout the day. The Landing was intended to communicate to other’s that Dr. Shoaff’s practice is a safe place to land, rest, and discover your next move.

Online one-on-one sessions offer a confidential space for individuals to learn coping skills, process emotions, and explore personal thoughts. Scheduled weekly or bi-weekly, these sessions focus on personalized approaches to meet each individual's unique needs, promoting growth and understanding at a comfortable pace.

Group Therapy

Online groups of 6-8 individuals offer a space to learn skills, share experiences, and process feelings in a supportive environment. This format promotes interaction and community among members. Research shows group therapy can be as effective as individual therapy, often at a lower cost. Please inquire about our ongoing groups.

We offer both in-person and online seminars tailored for large groups or corporations. The Landing is currently considered a private pay only practice. We do not accept insurance; however, we will happily provide a Superbill to be submitted to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. This will allow for the greatest level of flexibility in your treatment time and approach.
